I personally wouldn't be against having a house husband. But I also grew up with two working parents and was NOT raised by the nanny. I saw aunts, uncles, grandparents. Had older cousins, rode my bike to soccer practice as I got older and completely benefited from having the "family village" I didn't miss out on life or my parents. Gender roles suck, point blank but I've also worked my way up in my career to where I can make it home in time for dinner and I can have my weekends and evenings completely free.

All I'm saying is, a family can be had without both people giving up everything they've worked so hard for.
