5 Things I’ve Learned From a Man Who Values Me.
Our relationship may have some downs, but I’ve never felt unloved or undervalued.
1. No Ask is Too Big
Very early on he made it clear that he was my partner and what I couldn’t, he not only could, but wanted to do. This came as a shock of sorts however, the longer I’m with him, the more that I see his desire for acts of service is greater than what I could imagine.
2. Support Should be Guaranteed
One thing I too out of my last relationship was when I wasn’t feeling support, it’s time to go. There was no support in that relationship and in this one, it’s almost as if support comes as easy as love and affection.
3. My Happiness Comes First
to me. And his comes first to him. When we allow ourselves to have our own lives and our own joy, the joy that we bring to the relationship is palpable. We always tend to focus on making each other happy, when we should be making ourselves happy for each other.
4. I Don’t Have to Sacrifice Who I am to be Who He Wants
He literally is the definition of “he loves me for me.” With no makeup or dressed to the nines. In my sweats or my fitted dresses. He loves me…
